A Special Weekend

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to celebrate Ryan's great grandma Audrey & great grandpa Bob's 60th wedding anniversary. It was quite the celebration! We started with a church service to honor the special couple. Then, we were off to a fun family gathering at Aunt Amy's house. The highlight of Ryan's evening involved the cornhole sets...laying on them, peering through the hole, dancing on them, etc. As for the rest of the weekend, Ryan got plenty of quality time with his Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Kurt, Aunt Heather, Uncle Ted, & Megan.

St. Simons, GA Family Vacation

These are just a few pics from the trip from late July. We all had a wonderful time! All of Ryan's cousins were there, as well as aunts/uncles/grandparents. The weather was great, the meals were terrific (we all took turns cooking), and each day was full of fun activities (e.g. swimming, walks, trips to the park, feeding the turtles/ducks, a bike ride with Nana & Papa, etc.). Most importantly, though, we got to spend lots of time with each other.
